This Beginner Vedic Astrology Course follows a clear seven-day progression through the confirmed Level 1 syllabus.
During Days 1–2, students are introduced to the meaning, life areas and psychological significance of all twelve houses. Each house is explored as part of the framework through which life events, development and human experience are understood.
On Day 3, students study the nature, elements, qualities and behavioural expression of the twelve zodiac signs, including how signs are connected with planetary rulership and different stages of life.
Day 4 introduces the nine planets used in Vedic Astrology and their fundamental qualities, significations and influence on personality, relationships and life experience.
On Day 5, students learn fire, earth, air and water as foundational principles for interpreting temperament and behaviour, including how elemental relationships contribute to compatibility and expression.
Day 6 explains how planets, signs and houses combine within a horoscope. Students begin to see these factors as an interconnected system rather than as separate definitions.
Day 7 introduces the basic structure of a horoscope and includes foundational instruction in:
Students begin learning how to connect individual chart factors rather than memorising isolated definitions. Practical explanations and chart-based examples help establish a thoughtful starting point for continued study.
The course does not treat astrology as a collection of disconnected predictions. Students are encouraged to understand the relationship between planetary symbolism, psychology, behaviour, consciousness and recurring life patterns. The aim is to develop a thoughtful foundation from which deeper astrological study can continue.
The Level 1 course is available through live online classes for students worldwide. In-person courses may be offered in Pune, Arambol in Goa, and Bhagsunag in Dharamshala according to Ajay Sharma’s annual teaching schedule.
