Vedic Astrology beyond prediction: an in-depth conversation with Ajay Sharma about the human being behind the horoscope.
Psychological Vedic Astrology explores the psychological structure reflected in an individual birth chart: unconscious tendencies, strengths, vulnerabilities and the recurring patterns through which life is experienced. The emphasis is on self-observation and inner maturity rather than primarily predicting events. A horoscope is approached as an instrument of inquiry, without fear or the assumption that it fixes your future.
Meditation, Tapasya and self-understanding
The depth of attention behind the conversation
Ajay Sharma’s relationship with Vedic Astrology has developed alongside decades of deep meditation, contemplation, inner observation and sustained spiritual practice. His understanding draws on study and lived experience, as well as the discipline of Tapasya: sustained dedication to inner inquiry.
A session is therefore more than an exchange of astrological information. It invites careful attention to the person behind the chart, rather than the mechanical repetition of textbook interpretations. For those receptive to this contemplative dimension, the conversation may offer space for reflection, awareness and a more honest encounter with their own nature.
The value lies both in the insights explored and in the quality of presence with which questions are considered. What you discover remains a personal inquiry, approached with openness and responsibility.
Seven dimensions of self-understanding
Ajay Sharma’s approach considers seven important dimensions: Ego, Weakness, Strength, Negativity, Complexity / Secrecy, Frustration and Obsession. These provide a framework for exploring self-image, vulnerabilities, resources, difficult tendencies, inner contradictions, attachments and recurring preoccupations. They are invitations to observation, not fixed labels or judgments.
Understanding these dimensions can help you recognise recurring patterns more consciously and approach life with greater awareness and maturity. The discussion commonly develops into an in-depth conversation lasting approximately 60–90 minutes, depending upon the individual horoscope.
